Message from the Chairperson and President of East Midtown Partnership

Dear Friends and Neighbors:

Since 2002, the East Midtown Partnership has worked to improve the quality of life and promote commercial activity in one of the world’s most vibrant, diverse communities: East Midtown Manhattan.

Now, as the organization prepares to enter its eighth year, we are excited to be launching new programs to better serve businesses, employees, residents and visitors to East Midtown, including: A newly-redesigned Web site, which will keep visitors up to date on important news and offer a comprehensive list of district businesses; E-mail newsletters and bulletins to keep you current on the latest information. (Sign up for our mailing list by using the convenient link to your left); New initiatives to promote East Midtown shopping and highlight retailers, property owners, residents and community leaders who go to extra lengths to keep our community clean, safe, and beautiful; Streetscape improvements to unify and aesthetically improve our sprawling district; Increased flowers, greenery and other beautification efforts to help make your visit to East Midtown a memorable one.

Of course, we will continue to keep our streets clean and safe, meet the needs of our homeless population and serve as an ombudsman for our constituents and visitors.
